John F. (Jack) Rose, President

Over forty years of engineering/management, and consulting. Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State College, California and MBA studies at the University of Santa Clara, California. Jack joined Red Lake Laboratories in 1963, a California startup corporation, following college. Became Vice President during his seven years with the company.

This background, plus being Operations Manager with Develco Incorporated, Mountain View, California, led to co-founding Superconducting Technology, Inc., Mountain View, CA, in 1972. Jack later founded Mountain Folk Engineering in 1976, Sonora, CA, sold the business in 1981.

During the past 25 years, Jack specialized in bar code identification, integrated weighing systems, consulting, manufacturing engineering and distribution systems. Jack authored many articles on automated data capture, weighing and systems integration, for Auto ID News, ID Systems, Material Handling Engineering, and Weighing & Measurement. Experience includes; Vice President, Fairbanks Scales, St. Johnsbury, VT, and Vice President of Accu-Sort Systems, Inc., Telford, PA
